Thanks for that calliewag - you have to think laterally with some of these questions not just go for the obvious.

Answers to 2 and 88 are in the question.

41, 69 and 72 contain anagrams - always a good idea to look out for them

Oh dear - and here's me thinking I had all the clues until like some others, I counted up those starting and those ending with L. Starting with L I have 14 on the first page where others think it is 15; 16 on the second page where others think it should be 17 and 18 on page 3 which seems to be the general opinion. Back to the drawing board but looking at the answers, at moment can't see where I have gone wrong. Think I will give it a rest over the weekend.

Thanks Lady Bee. Have looked ++ at 2 and 88. How stupid am I. For the anagrams that's what I thought and have tried several words already so back to the drawing board!

Haeremai18 Just going to fill in and send off, thought I'd better count up and only have 14 on page 1 as well. The only one I have a slight doubt about is 13 - my reply is one of the famous TV singers who blacked their faces years ago, also the name of a rather yummy sweet. Is that correct does anyone know? I'm 99.99% sure of the others on that page. Thanks all - will be glad to get rid of it now!!
