Quizzer 01 Yes that's what I ended up with as well. Sending it off now, enough! Can't wait to see what they have for us in May 2012!! Gluttons for punishment aren't we? As much as they give us headaches, sleepless nights and all the rest of it we all still love doing them, the best quizzes around.

Sorry if I've missed anything relating to what I'm going to ask but... before I go completely mad, is there any help out there for number 4: Great Composer? Hear Hear! (5). It's the only one I haven't solved on the first page.

I have all but finished but am very confused about the clues given to number 13 - I know this is probably the one I need to change to get the 50/50 split. I cannot understand why the 'pianist' should be the answer. Please can someone explain ? I have 'minstrel' which seems to follow the clue precisely !!!

Hi Polly Dee
I had minstrel to start with but have changed it to answer beginning with L.
This entertainer was a pianist and great showman in the fifties

13, Minstrel doesn't really explain all the clue. Story = another word for fib. Initial letter for Black and a word for people and the whole is the entertainer.

Thanks guys - worked out No 13 so that means have the correct amount beginning with L on pages 1 and 3 but still need to alter one on page 2. There have been queries about 37 and 43 - I have them both ending in L. Does anyone think either of them start with L?
