May I just ask what "to go postal" means?Go slow?Hasn't reached mainland Europe as far as I know,nor is it in Chambers 11th ed.!

Re 'go postal' - my dictionary says 'US informal, go mad especially from stress[with reference to cases in which postal employees ran amok and shot colleagues]'

Do you remember my criticising aristophanes's
testicular entry because it "didn't fit the rules" hilarious though it was? General opinion was that I was a pedant. ixion's entry is in the same category, a worthy winner but because "it does not fit the rules" we can't decipher it(some of us anyway).
