It's good to see you back, Old Gal, and I'm delighted to learn that whatever fears you may have had have been allayed.

Must have taken nearly an hour to do RT11. I got into a bit of a fankle with the top left hand corner, thinking, for no apparent reason, that the first one across was modifying. Took most of the time to see the error of my ways.

Off to SGH in the morning. Will catch up again on Friday.

Sorry to take so long. I had forgotten what I put in. Think along the lines of an anagram. Let me know if I can help further.

Thanks, Joker.

The SG visit is routine. It happens every six weeks, but even so I usually have a sleepless night before I go in. I think this is one of those things that comes with age - anything out of the ordinary seems to be an event - things that we would have taken in our stride in days of yore.

Thanks again. Back Friday.

ALL. I too was of the 'sealing' school of thought and think we wis robbed!
This week's puzzle I found quite difficult
but very fair and satisfying with no controvertial clues except for 9d which is not really cryptic or a meringue(Sorry, Scottish joke)
COMPLIMENTS TO THE COMPILER!
