The answer to the first one was in a thread a while back - William Shakespeare and Mahatma Gandhi both appear in the introduction to the TV programme QI (quite interesting).

The store advertises Delia and Heston as its 'advisers', is part of the John Lewis partnership and was founded in 1904. Its present name is a play on words of the surnames of two of the three founders.

Hi again Joe.

A local miner's town in the North East [8] ... Although this person was sometimes called "King Arthur" by his followers, it's maybe a bit obscure nowadays. He was the leader of the National Union of Mineworkers.
