Yes indeed, a very Happy New Year 2018 to all fellow contributors.
I'm stuck with final two clues
17d (5) Lochgelly and region to the north -T- A-
I'm sure the answer is strap, referring to the " belt" , but can't understand rest of clue?
32d(6) Play back for Dundee not our set up -E-E-D
Defend?
Any help as usual much appreciated, guys.

If 17 had had 'regions', plural, the regions to the north could be Parts, strap reversed (to the north = going up, it's a Down clue)/

Thanks to you both. The defend answer was a bit obvious, and I blame New Year celebratory drink for my stupidity! Cheers.

Happy New Year, everyone. Have just looked in.

The answer to 65A is DOITIT ("I dot it" with "I" delayed, I.e. later in the phrase)
