All done but can't see why 2 should be ICER. It's a wordy clue which doesn't seem to add up. The def in Chambers only mentions patisserie. Who's the croaker?

ICE = kill therefore ICER = killer who may end up in COOLER = jail

…….and croak = kill
Please will somebody tell me the length of the 2 words in path 4? Literally up against a brick wall here! All the rest finished Saturday evening and now 24 hours on one last clue.
