I think that's 26a rossim?

The solution to 28 a is contained in the clue and the definition is the latter part of the clue

It's hard to give a hint for 1 a without making it too obvious - the solution contains an anagram of one of the words in the clue

Well, just finished, thanks to loverman. Would never have got 26a without the Scottish tip-off. And there only seem to be 2 across clues and 3 down clues that fit with "not further defined" (not counting 5a). What's with the themes lately?!
