Hi FJ

"He swung" was the definition, surely? You need to get the FRANK from "from the hip". I'm just saying that Les has interpreted what this means in a different way from me.

I hope he'll pop in again and clarify.

To be fair, several others seem to be happy with "from the hip" = FRANK.

Chrise, I have just typed 'from the hip synonyms' and it gave, among others, 'candid, direct'.
