Hi all, definitely more of a challenge this week, but a satisfying one to complete (which I only just have).

Re. 10a the OED gives Hunting. A spring or pool of water as an obsolete meaning of sound - maybe that's what the compiler had in mind? 17d had me puzzled for a while - I'd not come across the word 'hick' before as a synonym for yokel.

Not been on here for a while and now late again as usual. Managed to get a copy of the RT this week but sometimes I miss out as by the time I can get to my local shop they've sold out.
Jazzgirl how would I be able to access one of your copies if I can't manage to get one in time please?
