A lot of 'Action' already this week but I'm still uncertain of a few. I have 'Mini Break' for 1d..am I right? Since so many of you have already finished, I have no qualms about disclosing my 'clue'..! Can't fathom 15a or 7a though.....HELP..!

Hi raymond
If you look back through the posts, you will see that we have decided that 1d is TIME FRAME, without any of us being able to fully parse it.

15 a true blue would be a.....?

7a def. is a bird (related to a lark). The "investigator" might be private.

Hi Raymond. `Frame` gives you the `M` which will help you with 15AC. Think `Conservative` !

I was out all day yesterday so couldn't join in the discussion. Yes it was 1d that I struggled with at first, but I think I have the parsing correct.
Check the length of (eg duration) = Time
Fashion = Frame
Time Frame = schedule

For 10a - "sound a plentiful source" , like jazzgirl I have gone for "well". - plentiful = well-provided
