first off, best of luck with that eye tomorrow Jolan.
thanks as always for a great set of clues, i didn't get in until 4. i managed to get 1 and 3, sort of guessed 5 (new word to me).
not sure i would ever have got 4 altho it makes perfect sense.
will try to transmit good thoughts tomorrow whilst i'm avoiding a certain media event.

Yes Jolan, good luck for tomorrow and best wishes for everything to go smoothly. Thanks for today's clues. I didn't get number 4 and had pro(lifer)ating for 3 which I couldn't parse....now I know why.

In the end I had 1, 4 and 5 right. Can't believe I was thinking of something around 'stretch' for 2 and couldn't get 'outing'. Oh dear.
Thanks again for the clues, Jolan. And all the best for your op tomorrow.

Good luck Jolan. I've had eye surgery in the past and they are very good these days so I'm sure it will be aok. Make sure you get the nurses to look after you and make you a few cups of tea and biscuits.

Four out of five for me! One day I'll get a full house. I got a fair amount of gardening done today between solves. Maybe the warm sun was good for my brain.

Thanks Jolan and all the best with your eye op tomorrow.

Well done Rossim, I'm sure you will. I've been trying for ages and I think I've only ever managed a full house twice, one was around Christmas and it was a nice feeling.
