Two Americanisms this week! I believe Comet and Cupid were invented by Mr. Moore, who lived (and died) in Newport, RI (long before Quahog came into existence, ixion).

Hi aristo
Isn't a quahog a respectably ancient clam?

Yes, we locals make a superb chowder with it, and it was used to make wampum, but it's only capitalized as the town in Family Guy.

I never did make it back to get number 3, but all the others were right. I wanted to stay away earlier as I was trying to build tonight's show, but kept being lured back because this was so intriguing. Thanks a lot, Jolan!

Now there's a coincidence, just switched on the TV and a question on that 5 0'clock quiz show was - 'what is a quahog?'.
