What happens now?

I remember it being a really clever clue of Paul's

it involved taking the 'B' (first blood) out of 'Sta(b)lemate' (second filly)

I must admit I did wonder if we would get a word used before. I suggest we carry on.

Don't see that there's a problem at all; any word offers infinite possibilities.

we're bound to get the same word once in a while. nobody should knowingly post up the same clue though surely.

A thought - do we ignore Paul's winning entry from earlier or do we see if somebody does better?

Having looked at the preamble it looks like I decide what we do. We carry on and ignore Paul's earlier winner.

paul was quite open about it and is not trying it on is he. he just identified a glich. as the previous winning clue has clearly not been devised for this particular peer review it should be ignored. shouldn't it.
