Thanks ixion,

OK everyone, here are 3 links
The original Crossword with preamble
The crossword with Solution (no preamble)
The explanation notes with Film info.

You can save them to one file if you want to keep hold of them, that way, all the info is together.

Bullfrog,

I apologise, I can't make amends to your clue on the original preambled copy, I had already moved it over to a place which was un edittable with the preamble attached. I can only change and edit now on the new copy I made without the preamble (which is evident on the Solution link) Hope that it's not caused you to much unrest.

Thanks Les. As suspected I had a couple of letters wrong which messed up some other answers. Overall it was very entertaining. Well done indeed!

Thanks for the wordplay, Les.

That clears up a few ? marks, & adds more kudos: 6A, 32D, 40A & 50D.

Well done!

I may have waxed poetic about OpenOffice before. Probably.

The wordplay link will give you a MS Word document. If you don't have MS Office, download this.
The new standard, & it's free:
http://download.openoffice.fm/free/?pk=10307

It will open MS files & save its own files in that format, if you wish, but why bother.

AND THEY DON'T MOVE THE DAMN BUTTONS WITH EVERY UPDATE !!

Re the movie theme:

Remember "The Box" ?

A lighter take on that:

Cheers Syzzie,

I watched "The Box" a couple of years ago.
The preview vid on the other link is playing a bit jittery, I think my computer needs a clean up, everything seems to be slowing down.
To the forum.
Are the wordplay explanation sheets a definite advantage to add to the solution then in the future?

I just had to look at the solution and now have a headache due to slapping my forehead at my previous inability to see what is now sooo obvious!! I could only get three of the films and would never have guessed the rest. A fantastic effort by some very clever people, if I was wearing a hat I'd doff it.
