Ah trevor, what a fine film, just watched it myself,
I don't know if you read the posts the other day, but somebody put the You Tube film on for Duelling Banjos from the film Deliverence, and I posted a few facts about the film.
Well, the guy that played the "red legs" tracker that followed Josey and then Josey speared him at the end with his own sword, he's the guy in Deliverence who played the in-bred mountain man who bottomed Ned Beatty (Ed) in the woods and was telling Ned Beatty(Ed) to squeal like a hog, just before Burt Reynolds (Lewis) shot him through the mouth that pinned him to a tree.

Les
both great films - the 'mangy red boned hound' that snarls when it is hit on the head by grolly is a treat.

Pasty - hope i'm not out of line here. i once knew someone that the lyrics from the Waterboys's 'Whole of the Moon' fitted perfectly, celebration with admiration and respect.

yes, i am pissed now. here's to me!!
hic, and you too.

Nice one trevor,

Here are the two film scenes with that guy in that I mentioned, he is in the Josey Wales spit compilation at 1 min 45 seconds where he says "Your all alone now... Wales"
And he's in the Deliverence rape scene on the other link.
Enjoy my friend.

Interesting explanations but you're over-thinking it. I only go into high gear for the British ones.
Harper's is usually low-key, but I have a few dillies in the files. Really regret not saving them from yeas ago. There were some beautiful unnumbered ones, or was that The Atlantic?

Aristo, nice one re favo(u)rite. Somewhere here I wrote "color" your way.

I spared you from the Celine Dion version. 0-8

Morning Syzzie,

I'm just updating my earlier post, I made a mistake.
it was the character Bobby who was played by Ned Beatty, Ed was played by John Voight and the mountain man was shot through the chest and not the mouth.

Sorry.
As Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say, "Never mind."

That's what happens when you look at two threads at the same time.
