Did you see my name in the New Year Honours List? No? Neither did I. By this time each year, Mrs P is almost word perfect in saying 'I am sorry, Lord Pipesmoker does not receive callers while he is doing his crossword'

I guess she will just continue saying 'The old git's in the kitchen. Fight your way through the smoke, and you will find him.

Ah well, perhaps next year.

Happy New Year to you all. Lang may yer lum reek.

Thank you MaisieP and jazzgirl.

Did you know that the haggis's right leg is considerably longer than its left leg? This is so that it can run swiftly round the mountain in an anti-clockwise direction. They tend not to fly very much during the winter, so are usually quite plentiful by the time Burns Night celebrations come along at the end of January.

Best wishes to all.

Greetings from the Grampians Pipesmoker !

I was just thinking today that you (and TJ) have been keeping a low profile of late...and hoped everything was OK.

All the best for 2012 to everyone.
Cheers
Julie

I bet there aren't that many haggises (is that right?) running round after Burn's Night.
For what service would you like to be enobled?
Happy New Year to all

Pipesmoker et al,

I'll be 'round first-footin' with me piece of coal tomorrow in the wee small hours, that's unless I can find me black wig beforehand.

Nice to see Trevor back in the fold - hope he brought Matron wiv 'im!

See y'all in 2012!
