Thanks for the reminder ixion. Looks like others have already done most of the hard work. I'll keep at it for a bit, but I've drawn a blank. For a "warm up", I'm definitely beginning to overheat.

Thought 6. would be solved early....the answer is a common word but with a pretty obscure meaning(to me at any rate)in this case
