All this talk of cowpats (thank you aristo BTW) reminded me of a time when a bunch of us were coming away from a music festival across a field. My wife stepped in a cowpat and my friend's wife said, 'I just did that'. I replied, 'Really? I thought a cow had done it...'

Maybe you had to be there...

My friend was only telling me today about a recent telephone conversation she was having with an old pal from Plockton (yes Hamish McBeth country. He cut the conversation short by saying....

"I'll have to go...there's an eejit coo in the kitchen."
