@Bernie -- this is a very long-winded way of explaining what, once you've done it a few times, is the work of a few seconds. Place your mouse cursor at one end (lets say the front end) of the section you want to copy. Press down the left mouse button and, keeping it pressed down, run the cursor forward across the words which will turn white against a blue background. When you reach the end of the section to be copied, lift your finger off the left button, move the cursor onto the blued section and press the right mouse button once. This will bring up a menu. Look for 'Copy' on the menu and move the cursor over it (the word 'Copy' will also turn white on blue) Press the left button and you have copied the section to a clipboard. The menu will disappear. Now go to wherever you want to paste the section, place the cursor in the appropriate place, and press the right button. This time look for 'Paste' and press the left button once it has turned white on blue. The menu will disappear and the section of text will appear.

...and needless to say, there are at least two other ways of doing the same thing, but this seems (to me anyway) the least confusing. Others may disagree!

Thanks for that Bullfrog. I'll keep it earmarked for future reference. (maybe experiment in the early hours, when I can't sleep) Thanks again.
