I've got 6, so we're getting there. Can't see 5 or 7 yet.

I'm pretty sure I have 1,2,3,4,5,
and just want to say 4 is very witty and caused me to chuckle :)
I'm trying to upload photos from camera, at the same time, so no wonder laptop is overheating. Have to sign off again.

"B" doesn't begin with "o" Chips - litmus paper is the defn.

Peterm - can you, will you give an additional clue for either 6 or A?

In 6, the definition is "squash". (I think you've really got to nail the definition and work backwards to get the answer.)

"Hearts" in A refers to the answers in 1 - 7.

I still haven't got 7, and I'm not wholly sure about B.

"B" was a bit of an afterthought and probably a bit loose - litmus(3)test(4) should assist.
