It's a possibility as the setter is a good bit older that me so she probably remembers them. Think they're banned now - but remember it from The Railway Children.

I remember reading about paperchases in various books when I was a child!

Well done Mrs T. I'd thought about no. 18 for ages. I popped over to the Answerbank site a minute ago. Mamya's Mad Over 50's Club is in full swing on Quizzes and Puzzles if any one wants to visit. Quite amusing.

Hi Julie. Just had a quick look and you are right - amusing! That's the sort off stuff we used to have, and need more of.

Hi Julie,
Have you finished this yet or are there any still to be worried away at? (Don't worry, I haven't been up all night on it)

Oops Mrs T nearly didn't see you there - working on the Sunday Times.

Still 4 to get I'm afraid but closing date not till 30 September. I bought 5 copies of the quiz I felt so sorry for them at the show in the pouring rain and wind.

They are :-

6. Insert direction in brace to sing.
12. Kind of cream, wine, note and sound of question.
20. Holy with terminal note changed.
25. Baby food with single competitive running.
Also, No.1 which I didn't put on the website yesterday - thinking it would be easy to solve myself !
Clue: English city
Thanks for any help
