Lizzyminto,for 12, answer is anoher name for a national newspaper. For 29 think of a meaning for 'asleep' which is a euphemism. So far 'dumb broad' hasn't helped me for 99. Is there an anagram involved at all? Hope you complete the quiz before you're off on holiday.I've only 3 to do but they're proving very hard.

Hope. 99 anagram of often used word for an american plus name for narrow roads = computor speak. Still baffled by your tips. does no 12 start with an s? got an answer but not sure.

Lizzyminto,thanks for clues for 99. Surely I'll get it now.For 12 think of what you could say instead of subordinate when applied to an employee,for example. That should help.
