Thanks Kilgore trout, is this a real one? I could only find a lego one on Google. Are there other real ones apart from 1dn?

You probably need to consider the full implication of 2a/8d/14d and what it means for reading the thematic entries!

If you have 14d, interpret that word as you would if it appeared in a cryptic clue.

Grid B - What connects with what? I need the last letter of 6d. I have the light clued without a def suggesting the theme. I have the pair yielding an anagram of an anagram, now just need to sort the "three further pairs".
Grid D - what to highlight?
Help please anyone.

Grid B - Not sure if this helps but I assume (if my eyes don't fail me) that 9A/23D/24A are the theme words - still working out the links

Grid D - I've completed apart from one symbol - don't understand the preamble - I have 3 of one symbol and one each of another which all seem to belong as part of one set - no idea what the 2nd set referred to is or what to shade.

Hello ixion - i have the same as you for Grid B, thought maybe that 13a went with 23d? 16a went with 9a (connection services???) . Don't know what 6d is or how it could connect with 24a.
In Grid D I have all the symbols - I've put a > in 8a? Same as you I don't understand what to do next?
The 2nd set might be the Roman numerals but I don't see any further yet!?
Found Grid E quite hard to complete too.
