The top three are uncatchable now but the final order depends on our last two voters.
Waiting for Simplesimon to get back from bowling, and hopefully Whetstone will also turn up as it is his vote that could be decisive.

Good evening and Happy St Patrick's Day to all.

It was nice to see some of the less frequent visitors take part in this week's challenge, and an especial welcome to debutant Stmichel.

A total of 14 entrants spent the weekend devising devilish clues, the majority of which were anagrammatical in nature.

Almost everybody received votes for one or more of their entries.
Bacchanal, Whetstone, Buddy and Stmichel ended up just off the podium, as did Paul and Simplesimon, whose votes were split. Paul also had the distinction of being the only one to get a 3-pointer. Chrise deserves an honorable mention as without his sharp eyes one of ss' clues would have been invalid.

Mattrom@33 proved to be very popular, receiving 9 votes.
Old queen, dressed in golden fabric, rejected diamonds for another gem (7)

Slightly more popular, with 10 votes, was Tyke@24
Green team gear failed regularly (7)

The people's choice, however, with a resounding 15 votes, is Jono@15
Precious stone dealer careless with money (7)

Congratulations Jono
