Hi Mich,

Yes, you're right and, to quote Philip, "... it's just plain awful!"

Regards,

Caravaggio

Thank you all! I always struggle more with the shorter words. All finished now.

Not finished yet. Stuck on 20 across and 15A. Once I had figured out 12A I really liked it - very neat.

Nimrod, hopefully each day you will feel a bit better.

I liked that one too, Karen, and thought that it was way above the usual standard of the Radio Times' compiler...

Hi Caravaggio, I agree about 12a being above RT standard, but it was 1d that really got me! It was the last one I got this week. Some jump out and others hide, with me its usually the short ones, when so many words can fit until you see the word play after much brain fumbling. Sorry for delay in reply, had to make and eat dinner and relax a bit. Hubbys just mentioned Christmas! Bugger!

Really had problems with 13d until I realised I'd got the wrong trees for 22a. Rather liked 12a. So finished it much earlier this week due to it being delivered. Must say we have problems with the postman too and often get bent or folded letters, hope he doesn't do that with the RT. Got a good offer online of 8 issues for £1 too.
