Lovely Araucaria alphabet today. Slightly more difficult than usual, because there's not a lot of difference in word lengths. Highly satisfying

Got stusk rying to put solstice in. Complrtely fooled by araucaria again. brilliant crossword. AJT Have you composed one yet?

I have completed it but how do I know if i've got it the right way around?

Hello Don - haven't seen your name for a long time - hope you're well. This was a good Araucaria, I thought, and no, I haven't composed one - don't think I could.

Graham, if you've got it the right way - you will know!!

Graham - as the instructions state, "two sides of the completed perimeter will show you if you have it as intended."

Donf932 - I had the same problem as you with 'solstice'; although I couldn't follow the clue I thought this had to be the 'S' word - but what a brilliant clue that is & a superb 'Araubetical' overall. He's still the best!!

Don - just noticed - it isn't solstice - but perhaps you've found that out
