The only one I've got there, S, is 38ac, crossing with 21d. Clue any good?

It's the name of a mineral. There is a 5-letter word for Davy Jones backwards in the middle, and a 2-letter word for water backwards around it.

Thanks for that AJT - it was one of my 2 options but I couldn't see how Davy Jones fitted in. Quite clear now!!
