Straightforward, quite elegant, and no ambiguities in the preamble. In fact very little preamble. So, for once I'm not critical of Kea. I'm surprised solvers weren't asked to enter the theme below the puzzle, though probably the theme must first be deduced in order to resolve the unchecked cells in 15 & 23 : which I have as M and K respectively.
M at the end of 15, not N.

I have BRUT for 4, but didn't understand the wordplay.

Don't often get the chance to start the listener over the weekend. A rare free Saturday and now still free.
Mersault - think imprisons.

Sorry about the typo meursault.
Just realised the significance of completing this today - the ninth day of the ninth month.

Not a problem, Smithsax. Looking at the wiki entry for the 'Double Ninth' festival, I see that the overbalance of yang makes it a "...potentially dangerous date." The wiki entry continues, "To protect against danger, it is customary to climb a high mountain..."

20anti: More than one specialists saw stone go on esker (7)
?T?DDAS

I think saw is the def. Staddas fit.
But how do you parse it?
