Incidently, I do not fully understand 5D and 9D - are the clues accurate?

5D parsing probably is:

Second note = Re (Do Re..)
Opposing is versus =vs

9d. Not fully parsed yet. Anagram of salt is in the middle.

9d. Cloister = convent => convtlsant (t the misprint)
E old Roman 250 replaced by an anagram of salt.
