I think K meant 30 and 40 ac as the unclued. The other unclued aren't actually names of famous themed jewels, but different types of the same. For instance, 29 ac?

That's very much an English colloquialism (sp?): you might say "It hurts like billy-oh" - so fiercely.
The wordplay comes from billow, for wave, 2 extra letters, and h for hard

Thanks AJT. British colloquialisms are often a mystery.
Re viewing -- couple of options:
1) open another window with the same page, split the screen, then reply in one of them.

OR
2) use the < & > buttons to flip back and forth. Do NOT refresh, or you might lose the reply.

I do the same as Zardoz
Re viewing -- couple of options:
1) open another window with the same page, split the screen, then reply in one of them.(also lets you check that nobody else has already replied)

or... copy the question and paste into the answer part,deleting as you go.
