I have been stuck on these last 3 questions for 5 days now. don't want answers just a bit of help.
Q 15 . Young horse without race gets eight, we're told, at sporty opening ( 5,4)
Q22 . Fellow has selected list of candidates for the banker (5)
Q47 , Compiler took ride ignoring the last Scotsman on this line (8)
I know we have 3 months but nothing is making any sence

Why not put the quiz aside for a day or two? Sometimes you can think too hard and come up with nothing! As you say, there's three months for this.

Yes I do that with quizzes with a long date - pop aside and move on to the next in the pile.

It still won't make sense in a few weeks time so you might as well wait.
I'm sure there will be plenty of askers for this quiz, there always are.
I'm just surprised its taken this long to kick off!!

This is such a wonderful quiz!!!!! I THINK I have answered 99, but totally stuck on Q 96.

Sure it is obvious! No hints yet, please!

This is a very clever clue. but I got it straight away

I estimate that I have been attempting these Rainbow puzzles for almost twenty years now, and can generally complete them in a week or two, but this time I seem to have met my match with just number 32. It's probably just me, but I think this is the most thought-provoking clue I can remember. Still, with over two months to go, I am still hopeful!
