Thanks for hosting, chiaro. I enjoyed the clip. I thought it was an interesting phrase, and found it more challenging to devise a clue in the plural than the singular.

Congratulations mattrom. I too couldn't understand the updated version which went from 'Driving instrutors' - a very clever Cryptic Def with misdirection to think of the tutors who teach driving lessons - to 'Driving instructions' seemed to demote it to a non-cryptic straight clue (instructions for drivers) which are displayed on Road signs.

Steve, the M! was the first fully completed motorway in UK but the first road deemed as a motorway was the Preston bypasss (now part of the M6)
