I don't think that it actually says that the thematic ones must be undefined - though most were.

Thank you ChrisE.

The Chambers crossword dictionary shows it as a word, but hyphenated. (T...)

As I said my knowledge of this theme is sparse.

I got C. "embraces Seb" needed a closer look.
But I don't know who Steve is.

The only 4 letter I is Billy. Could it be?

B seems to be Buckinghamshire and H K Browne.

Will keep on looking for D, F, R.

By the way what is the reference to King's porridge in F?

C both athletes from the 70s

4 no

I think F is from a nursery rhyme, but I haven't confirmed that.

That's the answer I got. You can see the themed answer by typing the 5-letter X answer into the search box - this shows you the page with your hospitality thingy on the right hand side. Then click on search box which still has your X answer in it, and some suggestions will appear underneath your answer: click on the first suggestion and you'll get different results.

The first W was one of the first I got, thanks. I still can't get V & J - none of the biblical trees I'm turning up are any use. And what's the definition in V?
