Getting desperate. I know you say 31 is easy but I can't get my head round it.
Also 45 - have got the second part which is an anagram isn't it but can't get the 1st word.
Help please

31: ignore space, and look for one word inside another
45: first word might describe an anagram; clue gives author

I am stuck on 35 - its's been suggested that Sebastian is a poet, but neither Barker or Barry seem to be relevant (nor the rugby player!)

The Sebastian in question is an English author and the solution is one of his novels set in france
