I think 1A may be CLUB as this is usually entered as C in crosswords. Anyone of the same mind?

1D COMMERCE? arrive = COME limo = MERC but ...
commerce is limo in arrive not arrive in limo. Commerce could be a fair's (25's) agenda (17) but I don't get the parsing 100%.

1D re previous: just noticed the 'about' which now makes sense of change in order.

Use looks okay. Good is a synonym

I'd say Use is fine - it means both 'good' (as in an advantageous purpose) and 'habit'.
