Correction, the clash in 30A is 1st cell, but that is the 3rd cell of 24D. So only 3.5 clashes are in first or last cell...

Belatedly, Patch49, I don't think they make a meaningful phrase. Blackball is quite old usage and Bleep is quite modern. I couldn't imagine ACD using 'Bleep'...

It seems like I'm the only person not seeing this.

I've got the 5 dots, but can't work out the theme.

I assume I've got the right word for 17D (a synonym for 'escapade'), but I have no idea what 1D or 27D are (and I'm missing 13A).

Help, please!
