Nice AB,
Marty, I've partially solved Busby's but it still eludes me in part, because he may not respond because of the time difference, here goes. Maybe someone else can get the full wordplay from this.
Somehow catnaps delay The Concorde (6)
In Jive talk, a 'cat' is a guy or 'man'
so,
somehow = anagrind of man (cat)
naps = takes in 'the'
however, Busby has put in 'delay' and referenced it to a 'Down clue'.
So, I'm thinking 'delay' may mean 'hold up' in the down clue.
This throws out the use of 'the' as it's in order of letters and negates the use of 'naps'
Oh, I think the Def is either 'Concorde' if the 'the' has to be used elsewhere as clue fodder OR 'The Concorde' as the National Anthem of Gabon is 'La Concorde'
Hope that gives someone a positive spin on it.
Looking forward to hearing the solve.
