Hello, Elle!
Today is the 6th January, up here, anyway.
Just take the tree etc down when it suits you.
It is raining here, now.
Just had a walk to ALDI.
i only went in to escape the rain, but I bought quite a bit.
Their apple turnovers are very tasty!
I watched Millionaire earlier.
Naga Munchetty knows quite a bit!
She looked tiny alongside Jeremy!
I still have another Millionaire to watch.

Hi, Rusty!
It is raining here , too,
I've just been up to see the pharmacist, and got very wet on my travels !
What a change from the earlier sunshine.
I could just eat one of your apple turnovers with my coffee..... I have nothing as delicious as that, to eat!
Well, all done.....the Christmas tree is down, and it, and the decorations, are safely packed away for next year.
I am very pleased with myself..... and all done by our reckoning of Twelfth Night!
Now, "Millionaire".....
Who is Naga Munchetty?
Is she someone whom I should know?
How far did she get in "Millionaire"?

Good evening, Elle!
Rain here, too.
I got four turnovers and have eaten two of them.
Well done on the Christmas tree!
No, no reason why you should know Naga.
She is a presenter on BBC Breakfast programme.
She did quite well on Millionaire.
Not sure how much she won, but the money goes to her chosen charity.

Good evening, Rusty!
It is still raining here....and feeling very chilly.
I have been browsing Amazon for books......
I was given an Amazon voucher for Christmas, so feel like indulging myself!
I have ordered four....!
Our friendly local garage owner popped round this afternoon with our car.
It was kind of him to deliver it, wasn't it?
I am unsure when my husband will be up to driving it again, but it good to have it back!
Did I tell you that Thames Water is returning?
Grrrh!
Not content with spending over two months in the vicinity, they are again taking up residence here.....
This time for a further five weeks as from next Monday!
Apparently there is another leak!
One end of our (short) street is again to be blocked off for the duration.
We shall experience the water being turned off .... severe drops in pressure .......and so possible loss of hot water......
I think my New Year's Resolution should perhaps be "not to hit a Thames Water man"!

Hello, Elle!
You'll have fun and games with Thames Water!
I am up to date with Millionaire!
The only "celebrity" that I knew was Naga, and Clare Balding last week.
The other names were vaguely familiar but I simply would not recognise the faces.

Good morning, Rusty!
A bright sunny morning here....chilly, though.
Dog and I only made it as far as the garden this morning.......but she will get a walk later in the day as usual.
Very shortly I am away to get my hair cut.
It takes two buses and a walk, unless one uses the car!
So the transport will take me a while, hence my setting out so early.
I should be back about lunch time
You did well with your TV recordings catch up!

Good afternoon, Elle!
Weather is wild here.
Gales and quite heavy rain!
Hope you managed your trim!
I was out for a walk just now, and I don't mind the winds, but the rain coming sideways, I can do without!
I have caught up on my viewing backlog.
That's it until Wild Atlantic Way time tomorrow.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I managed the journey to and from the hairdressers with incredible ease....when changing buses, one bus simply followed the other!
I arrived with half an hour to spare till my appointment.
I was as lucky , too, on my way home.
I walked a fair distance, too, both ways , which cut out the necessity for a third bus each way.
( I do look tidier! )
Speaking about the "Wild Atlantic Way"....yes, I forwarded all the details of the programme to my daughter.
She says to thank you for the info, and she is definitely going to watch the documentaries, in the hope that the family do get to go there this Summer.
It is definitely on her "to do" list!
I've just got in with the dog....it is cold and dark out now!
A coffee calls.....

Hello, Elle!
Well done on your trim and successful bus trips!
Be good if your daughter can manage the "Wild Atlantic Way".
Or part of it, anyway.
I like the documentaries, and the sub-titles are helpful.
Now, you were asking me about "Murder, Mystery, and My Family", the other day.
There appears to be a new series starting tonight, on BBC2, at five past midnight.
Well, it's on up here at that time.
This is all I know about it, and I have not heard about this particular murder before.

The photo on the right is of the two barristers, Jeremy, and Sasha.
I shall record it, and am looking forward to it!

Good evening, Rusty!
I am pretty certain that my daughter and family will "do" the Wild Atlantic Way (or a part of it) at some stage, even if not this Summer.
She has had it in mind ever since I first told her about it.
They can start off the tour by visiting the relatives in Waterford......
Ah yes, I have found "Murder, Mystery, and My Family", in my TV guide, and have now set the recorder for it.
Thank you!
It says that it is a "Repeat" though?
So possibly you may have seen it previously?
But it will, of course , be "new" to me.
Yes, I, too, am looking forward to seeing it.
