I miss Trevor. He said the forum had lost its appeal for him but I am sure he will return.......I hope he does

I don't believe that

My stock answer to this type of post, which pops up now and then on all forums is that you will never please everyone.

I only get a bit annoyed about quizzes being spoiled as they often have months to run and there seems a strange urgency to get it completed in a few days/weeks - but then I am a quiz fiend.

Crosswords are ephemeral and relatively short lived , so I view them a little differently.


I also think it unfair to single out a particular poster, ask them direct on their thread fair enough, but to name them on a separate one doesn't feel good to me.

I promise to sober up if you promise to be naughty (naughtier or naughtiest) jazzy !
