Most of the contributors to the Radio Times threads attempt to avoid giving actual answers. This is sometimes the case on other prize threads too - and it would be nice if this was more the rule than the exception.
Yes, Chris, but others may think differently.
The RT thread, anytime I look in, is very good in that respect.
And hints are often more difficult to give than answers, I find!
ChrisE is very good at giving just hints, If I see that a hint has been given, I will not post an answer. But I know someone else will. I am taking a back seat today and off to enjoy the sun.
I now only look at the Speccie thread when I am really stuck or finished whereas previously I would look in earlier to see others' comments on the current offering. I can't do that now because I don't want to see a list of answers, it spoils the puzzle for me but I do want a hint when I need it. When I'm finished I'm happy to help others with a hint or even an answer (but not 4 or 5) if they're stuck, this is a help site after all.
