i thought of EASEMENT (Steven Fry used it recently when referring to doing his number two's) but didn't/don't see how the 2nd E gets there.

I really should have seen "easement" as recently I was reading a book on Hampton Court Palace in which the multiple "garderobe" (loo) was also known as the Great House of Easement - which could seat up to 28 people at a time ! Not my idea of fun ')
