Oh deary me! In a world where people are losing their lives to uphold free speech here we are getting our knickers in a twist over a rude remark! Chrisg has quite reasonably told the guy he won't help him any more so that should be the end of it. This site is getting duller and duller by folks objecting to the slightest whiff of controversy.

Hi rambler, normally I'd agree with you but the original poster here has previous as iI can personally attest to. Not always rudeness but a dismissive attitude to people trying to help with posted queries even when they have provided correct answers!

it was uncalled for, sorry. I said it in a playful tone. The world today so sensitive.

Thank you for that, icauser - it is also easy to misinterpret playfulness.

Actually, I agree with rambler. I was being over sensitive. (Believe me, I am normally very thick skinned and it takes a lot to offend me). Perhaps I should have responded.
"Knucklehead eh. Listen to me you plonker. You are not intelligent enough to understand how intelligent I am"
That would have resulted in a lively debate on here!
Thanks for the "sorry" icauser44.

Well done, eac2337! Many of us had thought it was impossible to do!!
'Diss' would work well, too, instead of 'pies')

for once i agree with rambler, this site has become pretty dull since lively debate has been squeezed out. there seems far less people coming on to the forum all round as a result.

very workmanlike and all very nice. nothing inherently wrong there i s'pose.
