It looks like the Ipad is pretty secure, then, if there are no antivirus apps. I would rest easy, Linda.
Get the girls to check it.
That's what I do.

i think Steve Jobs thought java was on it's way out so apple stuff doesn't use it. there is a way you can use it with an ipad if you want (or at least there used to be). you might have to buy an app.
i'm pretty sure you are not at any risk to do with java.

The pop up may not even be genuine java as there is a spelling mistake. It shows :
"please update your computer using the following free Windows Updater now"

I did not realise that.
There are a lot of folk on Answerbank ranting about the Java thing, and also about no admin to get in touch with, to get it removed!
