But I don't know the French "for fit of the giggles". It's one of my last ones. Is 16ac, 41ac Despot? If so, why? I found the rest very easy, but had to check out the characters on google.
I enjoyed it.

Hi. You may well have got it by now, but yes - I've got 'board of' and it's an anagram of 'bandleader from o'.

Let me know if you need more pointers.

Re previous posts: I've enjoyed this one! I often have to look things up - I just have different spheres of reference from the setters!
