Jazzy. I broke th bank last October and purchased a Stihl electric pole-trimmer. The blade tilts to various angles. I used it on the Leylandii this week. Previously I used a home-made scaffolding (very secure) which requires constant moving and reassembly. The job which used take about four hours was completed in less than 1 hour. Very little hassle. You're dead right about the two 'haircuts' per annum. Proper nuisance, eh? (x)
