Peter. Yes the first word is definitely Interior with interlinking answers of spIce air termiNal, spratTle, E haRpy, priscianIst, Cook and 7dn which is only partially filled in (presently _ _ U N _ S _ E R S _ )

You don't say how many letters are needed, but interior grates is probably the answer if it fits (= p'rior'y inside 'integrates').
