Good Afternoon, All. Quite straight forward this one, but I did take a bit of time to get 26 across. I spent ages trying to get another word for lunch, and somehow to get it to fit into the answer. Then it occurred to me that it might be something that actually happens after lunch.

Weather here a bit dreich but certainly milder than it has been of late.

Best wishes to all. I hope we find some other crosswords to fill the space between now and the next issue of RT

It being the festive season, could somebody please do me the enormous favour of just typing three clues onto trhe forum which I just cannot read on an incredibly bad copy that's been sent to me: I have no other way of even knowing what the questions are! They are:
41a, 28d & 52d.Word lengths for this last one not even legible: is it 3,3 ???
Don't know how I've remained sane trying to decipher the other 59, but nearly finished!

Many thanks, both of you --- but then I think I must have 54a wrong: is it a French word ending in "s"? If so, would seem to make 52d with "T?S OFF" pretty impossible. Can't really see the beginning of 54a clue:maybe that would help too! 28d & 41a are now clear, naturally.Thank you for your patience: I've never been in this ridiculous situation before..............

Oh, so it was right up your street, chris, involving golf!
All finished now, I hope: don't think I'll ever torture myself again with a poorly scanned copy! Enough to drive you completely round the bend................
