31 A. Grain? A lot of it, possibly (4)
I got the answer as TOLA,a grain and an anagram of 'a lot'.
I'll keep my thinking cap on!

What about ragi for the grain?

Re 2 Down, I've just checked and 'gas' can mean impressive so I'll settle for 'longas'.

Hmm. Got all the normal answers, 8 of the 9 theme words - but cant see the theme at all... Ay hints?

Barista, I'm pretty much at the same stage as you - I have 7 definite unclued answers and 2 possibles. So far I have one group of three, one group that has only two so far, and the rest is just random words! I have no idea about the 'thematic references'!

Interested to know your groups Malone. I've got all the words, I think, but can't group them.

I have definitions elite, ghost, Eliot work, sack and uva worked out which leaves me with 4 words and 4 definitions and no ideas!
