Naturally I think it's an improvement, but is there any real drawback in extending the CLOSING time for voting into Saturday? Paul made a good point about working and arriving home late.

It looks like most people prefer the shorter time frame so unless evidence comes forward to the contrary I'll adopt the new Rambler template.

I thought most people who expressed an opinion said they prefered the Friday finish. It's up to ixion to decide but I think we should settle on a time frame. Any temporary, one-week change could be added as a postscript.

I know that there is a casting vote should there be a tie ( double, triple, quadbike, whatever) but it could be avoided THUS;-
In voting a first and a second choice is posted . The first choice gets 5points, the second 3 points. Individual scores are thus very unlikely to be equal.
And I do approve of the old time-scale.
If you're not around on Friday to vote its a little bit sad but what can you do stuck in the sticks!!!
